If you’ve never been to a fashion show or indeed an indoor market here is something you might fancy trying out. Belfast City Council is supporting local independent retailers and is hosting an Independent Retail Week with a fashion show and exhibition in the City Hall on the 5th March.
The event will certainly be something different and in a fantastic location in the Great Hall. There will also be a selection of independent stores setting up their popup stalls, making the event feel more like an indoor market. Maybe we should be there selling some Belfast Times Popart. Fashion loves Popart afterall!
It’s good to see the council supporting local independent retailers, especially now when it’s increasingly difficult to trade. As always we are showing our support for local businesses and have popped over to the Welcome Centre for our 2 free tickets. If you want something a bit different to do during your lunch break on the 5th March, maybe you should do the same.
The Celebrate Independent Fashion show will take place between 12.30pm and 1.30pm in the Great Hall of the City Hall with tickets for the free show available from the Belfast Welcome Centre.
