World Cup fever hits Big Screen

The eyes of the world will be fixed on Brazil this summer as the whistle sounds for the start of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and Belfast City Council will be showcasing some of the samba soccer magic on the big screen.

Football fans from across the city and visiting tourists are invited to the grounds of City Hall to watch the competitions highly anticipated opening ceremony on Thursday 12 June, commencing at 7pm.

It will then be followed by the first game between hosts Brazil and Croatia at 9pm.

The big screen offers a quality viewing experience and will bring the marvels of the World Cups opening ceremony right to the heart of the City Centre.

Come along with friends and family and enjoy the experience. Entry to the City Hall grounds will be on a first-come-first-served basis – no tickets needed.

The big screen will also showcase the semi-finals over the 8th-9th of July, and the final on the 13th July.
