Most of the wine either came from various M&S £10 meal deals over the last six months, but there was that case of 12 bottles from Six Star Cruises after a recent holiday.
The cheese happened by chance; with perfect timing M&S got in touch to ask if I’d like to try out their new Autumn cheese and bread selection. And off to my local store I ventured.
My favourite cheese for a while has been their Cornish Cruncher, so the opportunity to try more out was welcomed. New cheeses include Westcombe Farmhouse Cheddar, Blue Shropshire, Aged Goat Gouda, Brebicet and Golden Cenarth.
New breads include Cranberry and Pecan Baton, Raisin and Rosemary Bloomer, Cheddar and Red Leicester Cobbler, Apple Harvest Bread and my favourite, Apple Crumble Cruffin.. a sweet apple filling with a hint of cinnamon wrapped in croissant dough and topped with a crunchy crumble!
Philips Hue lights flashing in time with the 80’s tunes, wine and cheese at the ready…..And we were ready to party.
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to check out the new Autumn bread and cheese selection, our party guests certainly enjoyed them!
