What’s your Christmas tipple?

Tis the season for a Christmas tipple.

Whether you’re meeting up with friends, having a house party or just chilling at home alone, there’s probably more alcohol drunk at Christmas than any other time of the year. Well that’s the case in our house anyway. Saying that, at Christmas it still isn’t even much!

When M&S got in touch and asked if I’d like to check out their festive drinks this season I almost rushed out the door right away to pick our Christmas drink for this year. And I found some gems!

For someone who really doesn’t drink much, I was like a kid in a sweetie shop spotting all the festive flavours in the Bangor store.

With Apple Pie Martini, G&Tea, Espresso Martini, Gold Creme Brûlée liqueur and Christmas Cake liqueur amongst the selection it felt like party time. What a choice, and so Christmassy!

So far I’ve tried the Christmas Cake Liqueur which might as well be liquid Christmas cake, including the marzipan layer on top!

Also on our tasting list was Chocolate and Orange liqueur, yes it’s as good as it sounds, and Chocolate Yule Log liqueur. Can you tell there’s a sweet tooth thing happening?

The choice really is fantastic with bottles of Christmas Cocktails, Black Forest Gateau liqueur, Elderflower liqueur and of course that M&S favourite, Special Reserve Port.

No festive and New Years Eve celebration would be complete without a bottle of fizz, and M&S have a huge selection, including Cava, Champagne and our favourite Prosecco.

Topping the list this season for us so far is the Gold Creme Brûlée liqueur. It’s Creme Brûlée in a bottle, and I can promise you, our bottle of it will be lucky to last through this weekend. It’s really that good, hell I might even be drinking it while your reading this!

Happy holidays 🎅🏻
