As it’s Belfast FASHIONWEEK this week, we thought we would share some of our London Fashionweek experience as we visited the city last month.
Fashionweek is a much bigger deal in London than it is in Belfast, but Belfast was the city that put everyday accessible high street fashion onto the catwalk creating a Fashionweek first.
We didn’t realise until the last minute that our day trip was in fact during London Fashionweek. This resulted in us not having access to any shows, so we opted for second best…the window displays.
First up was one of our favourite company’s for displays, Zara. Simple, stylish, on trend and very LFW focused.
Next was Liberty of London who had great and crazy displays. It’s one store I’ve never been in but always stop to admire the windows.
Onwards to another part of the City is the Harvey Nichols punk inspired look.
Great imagination, great windows and great VM. We’d love to see Belfast stores promoting our own FASHIONWEEK more and branding their windows more to help it to grow bigger and even better.
