Tourism Ireland are returning to Belfast this Friday morning and will be filming at my weekend work location, St. George’s Market.
They have chosen St. George’s as one of the main attractions in Northern Ireland along with Giants Causeway and Titanic Belfast to be part of their world wide global marketing campaign.
With the market already featuring on their website here, they have also included it as one of their ‘things to do’ in the city, saying:
Stroll the aisles of St George’s Market, and watch the locals show off their talents for all things handmade. Cameras, clothes, candles and cakes: this is the perfect place to pick up your final souvenir. With live music in your ears and a Belfast bap in your hand you’ll really get the feel for Belfast.
Check out this clip of one of my colleagues at the market as he gets to work showing off his skills:
If you fancy seeing what goes on during a recording, pop along to St George’s on Friday morning and join in the excitement!
I won’t be at the market on Friday, but I’m there every Saturday and Sunday with my popular Belfast souvenirs, some of which you can find online at www.belfasttimes.etsy.com
