Theatre Preview: Handbag Positive

Preview: Handbag Positive

Set in an emergeny waiting room, fate reunites two middle aged women who were childhood friends but haven’t seen each other in over 30 years. Handbag positive takes us back in time to when they were kids in the 70’s and everything they got up to, and then what happened to them in later years, all to the music of the Bay City Rollers.

Written by Donna O’Connor who co-wrote and starred in A Night With George and produced by Joe Rea (50 Shades of Red White and Blue). Handbag Positive at the Waterfront is also the directorial debut for Alan McKee (Grimes & McKee, History of the Troubles). Starring two brilliant actresses Christina Nelson (Mistletoe and Crime) and Allie Ford (Dympyna from Give My Head Peace), this funny and touching play at the Waterfront from 16-30th October has all the ingredients of a fun night out. And with tickets from only £12.50, well, why wouldn’t you go!
