The new @howardstbelfast restaurant opened today

Howard Street… It’s a new restaurant just opened in Belfast today (on Howard Street funnily enough) and I popped in for a few photos as the first customers began to arrive.

We all love somewhere new to go for lunch or dinner or even pre theatre and with the opening of this restaurant we have somewhere new to try out.

We love that they don’t have a freezer on site, so everything is fresh fresh fresh. We love that they are making a bespoke cocktail list with syrups made on site. We even love their cosy little alcove at the back of the restaurant with a table for four in it. And we love their wine cellar visible from the main restaurant area.

Here are a few photos just to get you in the mood, but check back later as we’ll have some lovely candle lit restaurant pics for you, and again tomorrow, as we will be going there for lunch to try out their amazing French onion soup and much more!

Check out their website here for their great menus, but check them out on Facebook and twitter as well for updates.

Love following your updates – mostly on Twitter – but… surely one of the Belfast Times folks would own a proper camera that can take clear, bright shots? I’ve been in Howard Street and these photos of the place (and that of their food in the other post) unfortunately don’t do its aesthetics much justice.
