One of Belfast’s oldest boutique florists, Ferguson Flowers, has teamed up with Pretty ‘n’ Pink to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help generate much needed funds for Northern Ireland’s only Breast Cancer charity.
During October, all Pink Radiance hand-tie arrangements (from £32.95) ordered online will come adorned with a glittery Pretty ‘n’ Pink lapel pin and Fergusons will donate 10% of the price to the charity.
‘We are happy to be joining hands with Pretty ‘n’ Pink during October to help raise money to enable them to continue to provide their wonderful support service to Breast Cancer patients and their families throughout Northern Ireland,’ said Lisa Ferguson. ‘The charity is central to the lives of so many women diagnosed with breast cancer here each year, and we are delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause.’
‘The bright pink colour associated with Breast Cancer awareness is perfectly portrayed in the Pink Radiance bouquet, making it a lovely way to purchase a gift for a loved one and support the cause of Breast Cancer Awareness,’ added Lisa.
Speaking on behalf of Pretty ‘n’ Pink, charity founder Noleen Adair said, ‘With one in 11 women in Northern Ireland being diagnosed with breast cancer at some stage in their life, the impact of the disease can be felt across Northern Ireland. Our vision is to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by breast cancer and to minimise the negative impact of this cruel disease upon patients and their families. The funds generated by Fergusons’ initiative will be a welcome addition to the money generated annually by our charity.’
