Style Watch at The Ladyboys of Bangkok!
The Ladyboys of Bangkok recently arrived in Belfast at the Sabai Pavilion, Custom House Square with their new show for 2013: Glamorous Amorous, and hosted a very special VIP evening of their hit show for glamorous guests!! Not only could I not wait to see the show, but I couldn’t wait to check out the style of all the VIP guests!
This time of year it’s vital to have a warm and stylish winter coat, and I was seriously impressed with the fashionable array of coats sported on the night! Brenda McNeill went for an oversized, tweed version with a glamorous fur collar over a cute and girly dress and funky knee high laced boots! While Victoria Square Stylist Rebecca McKinney and model Jayne Higgins opted for double breasted styles. I loved the masculine feel to Rebecca’s coat and Jayne’s colour combo of wine and beige tones! Past and present Miss Northern Ireland’s Lori Moore, Meagan Green and Finola Guinnane, looked cosy and stylish wearing rust, camel and colbalt blue coats! I especially loved Lori’s striking print scarf, Finola’s stunning cobalt blue wrap coat and Meagan’s chic and sexy leather shorts, showing off her fabulous figure! When it comes to the style stakes these gals never get it wrong!
Leather as always was popular and Rachel Singleton’s cute and sassy leather shorts looked fabulous with her tomato red top and matching lipstick, perfectly teamed with black opaque tights and ankle boots!
Scaves are the perfect way of not only staying cosy, but also help to create an individual feel to an ensemble! Skull scarves are a major trend, and I loved the mix of leopard print and skull motif on Gemma Bell’s scarf, which she teamed perfectly with a tan blazer and leather style leggings! Melissa Magee and Amanda Espey opted for oversized scarves which became the vocal point of their outfits, I especially loved Melissa’s scarf in tones of orange, monochrome and green!
I loved the red velvet devoré corset style top that Lucy Ellen styled with leather look leggings and cute cropped jacket! The floral devoreé velvet pattern took this season’s floral trend and turned it into the perfect evening look! While sequins were given a relaxed feel in Sonia Butterworth’s sequined stripe top: colour blocking hues of purple and bronze.
However my favourite look of the night was Lauren Penman’s simply stunning ensemble!! Bought on a recent trip to London, I loved the play of textures and finishes in her gorgeous dress!! Hues of metallic emerald green’s and hot pinks in an abstract pattern gave the dress an almost jacquard finish, while her gold belt perfectly cinched in the waist and her necklace picked up all the colour hues of the dress! Total fashion perfection!!
The Ladyboys of Bangkok certainly proved to be a very glamorous evening indeed, with guests seriously dressing to impress!
