Top high street retailer Oasis recently held a glamorous party to launch their “Design Your Future” winner, Catherine Kelly into the business.
The ‘Design Your Future’ competition had been held in association with TV3’s Ireland AM and their panel of judges: Top stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick, Fashion Designer Emman Manley and Chairman of Oasis, Ian Galvin, hosted the glamorous evening in Oasis Stephens Green, Dublin.
Stylish guests saw Christmas come early as snow sprinkled from the windows above the store while Celebrities mingled among happy customers and were “papped” on the stylish pink carpet.
Shoppers enjoyed jam jar cocktails, retro treats from the sweetie bar and got snap happy at the Oasis photobooth while DJ Gill played all the latest tracks.
“Design Your Future” winner Catherine Kelly looked ravishing in a lipstick red sequined dress, paired with a statement diamanté necklace, a fabulous look for any glamorous event. Catherine will be jetting off to London for once in a lifetime training on the Oasis design team in London, as well as designing and creating a six piece capsule collection with Oasis which will be sold in their stores in Ireland next year!
Those ever stylish girls from TV3’s Xposé were dressed to kill in show stopping ensembles, Lisa Cannon worked the LBD in a gorgeous black & metallic lurex dress accessorised with glam hair and elegant black leather gloves! Karen Koster worked the leather trend perfectly with a cute and sexy skater style skirt and hot pop of canary yellow. While Michelle Doherty looked stunning in her monochrome patterned jumpsuit, definitely one of the key looks for AW13, finishing the look with a chic cropped black textured jacket.
Model Roz Purcell always hits all the right style notes, looking über chic in her cocoon winter coat with luxurious fur collar and sassy spiked boots.
Animal prints have proved popular this season and I loved RTE’s Marrietta Doran’s beautifully cut red and black snakeskin print dress, while fellow RTE presenter Dyanne Connor worked accessories with stylish aplomb looking fab in her hat & statement necklace.
Fashion designer Emma Manley looked super stylish in her ensemble that mixed fabrics and textures to create a striking and feminine silhouette!! J’adore!
Stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick went for an all black look, working the lace trend with a chic lace skirt, finishing it off with a gorgeous charcoal leather waterfall jacket. This is the kind of jacket which is so versatile and will work with a multitude of looks from casual daytime right through to city cocktails. (I should know as I own the same jacket myself!!)
Last but by no least was stylist Sonja Mohlich who looked totally stunning in a chic and sexy tailored lace jumpsuit! Beautifully accessorised with a neon & diamanté flower necklace, chain detail clutch and edgy cut out boots.
A fantastic evening that celebrated the very best in design talent in Ireland, we wish Catherine Kelly the very best as she embarks upon her time with the Oasis design team and look forward to seeing her capsule collection in Oasis Ireland stores next year.
