Fashion enthusiasts came out in force as the University of Ulster, Belfast School of Art students recently held their Fashion Graduate Fashion Show at the edgy location of T13, wowing guests with their cutting edge designs!
Of course Style Watch was there to check out the style both on and off the catwalk, with guests opting for effortlessly chic ensembles!!
As a major fan of Karen Millen I immediately spotted Sarah Graham from across the room, totally rocking a neon digital print dress from KM and perfectly accessorising it with a Gucci clutch purse and crystal encrusted shoe boots, simply fabulous!
Fellow fashion blogger Jessica Fok looked gorgeous in neutrals, with a pop of colour from her blue silk top! I especially loved her peep toe boots and snake print clutch, after all an outfit isn’t complete without fabulous accessories! While Heather Bell kept her look chic with a classic black tux jacket and roll up jeans with just a hint of summer pastels!
Caroline McElroy looked amazing in a luxe leather jacket, perfectly paired with her yellow top and graphic pencil skirt mixing textures and prints to create a show stopping ensemble! Olga McGeough worked the LBD look in an elegant black lace dress, combined with classic court shoes and pearls!
Not to be outdone in the style stakes the guys were dressed to kill with Matthew Morrison setting the bar high, rocking a classiclly cut jacket and pairing it with leather bow tie, working perfectly with his dress shirt’s black buttons and black satin detailing on his jacket! Fab look!
Beyond Man Editor Lewis Robert Cameron fresh from his recent trip to Paris was continuing his love affair with all things Parisian with his nod to Parisian chic through his “Patisserie Mimi” bag, perfectly juxtaposing against the clean graphic lines of his monochrome bomber jacket! While fashion stylist Jamie Russell rocked the layered look, mixing urban sports lux in the form of mesh against butter soft leather and a spot of plaid mixed in for good measure! But my favourite touch was his bejewelled insects on his footwear!! J’adore!
Kirsti Reid was certainly the most glamorous of the night, shimmering in THE most fabulous floor length sequin gown complete with oversized shoulders creating a modern feel to her elegant gown, finished off with simple black accessories!
Milliner and Pluck & Devour designer Gráinne Maher always looks perfectly put together and I was in love with her hot orange look! Working the trend for strong dominant colours, I was seriously loving her orange jacket, clutch and Pluck & Devour “Pegasus” pendant! (I have the same one in purple!) completing her look with striped monochrome shoes and her own trilby hat with perspex detailing! The ever fabulous Katrina Doran looked chic and stylish in a classic black satin trench coat, combined with oversized, glossy snake print clutch and a super cute and girly statement necklace!
It was fabulous to see so many guests turn in style out to support the University of Ulster School of Art Graduates, who totally wowed us all with their amazing designs, and Style Watch wishes this year’s graduating students all the best as they embark on the next stage of their careers!
