Start your day with a FREE porridge from ‪@Slimshk ‬

You know the way you’re blaming Christmas excesses for your waistline when really you’ve been well rounded all year? And you have promised yourself to be healthier this year, and cut the crap. I’m personally planning on taking baby steps towards improving my intake and lifestyle and even a 1% improvement each day is bound to help towards the end goal… being a bit less rounded!

One of the best ways to start my day is surely a better breakfast, so if I’m planning a busy day and needs lots of energy, then porridge is perfect.

This is not me!! But I will look this happy starting my day with FREE porridge!

Slim’s Healthy Kitchen is helping kick start everyone’s New Year goals by dishing out complimentary porridge to all its customers until 7th January, and even better news, its available in their DW gym sites! Guess where I’ll be having breakfast in the morning.

Slim’s have teamed up with Flahavan’s Porridge to encourage everyone to eat a healthy breakfast and set your day up with slow burning carbs rather than a bowl of sugary cereal.

Make sure you call in to Slim’s for your FREE Flahavan’s Porridge made with almond milk and choose from a pre-selected combination of toppings which include banana and cacao; chopped nuts and honey; peanut butter and banana or toffee drops.

Ellen Flahavan from Flahavan’s Porridge said: “We’re delighted to fuel Slim’s Healthy Kitchen Porridge Week with our oats! At Flahavan’s we take pride in producing oats, which are 100% natural and unprocessed. Our ethos is very much that breakfast is the most important meal of the day to maintain good health – and porridge really does give the best start. Porridge Week is the perfect way to kick off 2017!”
