Santa is on his way to @castlecourt

Santa and his parade are making their way to Castlecourt this Saturday 16th November. The arrival will officially mark the start of Christmas at the shopping centre and the start of a sparkling festive programme of activity.

Costume characters, dancing elves and snowmen will all join in the festive parade as Santa makes his way down Donegal Place at 11.45 am to open his glittering grotto on the shopping centre’s mall.

Not only will shoppers get a glimpse of Santa as he arrives in Belfast by his magical sleigh, but CastleCourt will also be giving away lots of free goodies, seasonal treats, face painting and balloon modelling to ensure city shoppers are filled with festive cheer. And for those who sign up to the Kids Club will even get a free Christmas goodie bag.

The Centre will also play host to a number of other colourful characters including Jack Frost and The Grinch who will be causing mischief on the mall, while the cheeky elves on stilts and unicycles will amuse shoppers with their fantastically festive performance.

But the celebratory fun doesn’t end there. To add to the excitement, the U105 radio roadshow will be outside CastleCourt to entertain crowds with their festive favourite tunes.

Binder Tohani, Castle Court’s marketing manager is delighted to welcome Santa back on the mall “We know Christmas is fast approaching when Santa arrives. We have pulled out all the stops to create a sparkling programme of activity that will ensure our shoppers are filled with festive cheer. From show-stopping entertainment to Belfast’s biggest and best selection of high street names under one roof combined with extended opening hours, there really is lots to love at CastleCourt this Christmas.”
