Sabrina’s style: Need some style inspiration?

01c88d545552c5d5287d9a4d2f5cccce8d36f16d2eIt’s time to put a spring into your wardrobe as well as your step. With the latest seasons trends hitting high street stores and designer boutiques it’s time to hang up the winter coat and embrace Spring/Summer fashion (even if it is still freezing out).

Need some style inspiration?

Fear not! Belfast’s biggest style event, West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK, kicks off this week boasting a number of must see shows.

FASHIONWEEK, now in its eleventh year, is one of the most stylish events in the Northern Ireland event calendar.  This year’s Spring/Summer FASHIONWEEK is back with three catwalk shows, in the fabulous surroundings of BFW Head Quarterson Bruce Street plus the highly anticipated ‘Sushi Saturday’ will return to Shiro Belfast on Saturday 21st March at 2pm and Style Sunday in Shu restaurant on Belfast’s Lisburn Road.

As always Belfast FASHIONWEEK has something to offer everyone from the designer boutiques show, which also showcases home-grown talent including Grainne Maher and Stylist turned designer Sara O’Neil, to the High street heaven show which will feature the latest must have pieces from DV8, Debenhams, Oasis, Warehouse and many more. Understandably the High Street catwalk show, which is on Saturday 21st, is the most popular show as it showcases affordable fashion available to buy from local stores now.

If you can only make it to one of the fabulous Belfast FASHIONWEEK events I recommend the ‘Sushi Saturday’ in Shiro restaurant. Also known as ‘The Directors Cut’ as FASHIONWEEK director, Cathy Martin, will pick the top 36 looks from across all the weekends’ shows, the perfect way to see the latest trends while sipping delicious cocktails and enjoying succulent sushi.

West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK takes place from Thursday 19th March – Sunday 22nd March.
