Restaurant Week meets FASHIONWEEK (@belfastrw meets @belfashionweek)

20131006-214350.jpgIt’s a week for foodies with Belfast restaurant week, and it’s a week for fashionistas with Belfast FASHIONWEEK. That surely makes for a busy week if you are a Belfast blogger!!

Unfortunately we missed the first few days of restaurant week (too busy sailing around the Med) but we’ve already brought you lots of news and stories about what’s happening here.

FASHIONWEEK will be a different deal altogether as once again this season we’ll be bringing you exclusive images from behind the scenes at the FASHIONWEEK shows. You may have missed our exclusive access from the SS13 shows, so make sure you catch up with them here and here. For more on this year backstage, keep an eye on our twitter and Instagram feeds on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. You might even spot a few selfies in there!

In the run up to this years shows we visited one current FASHIONWEEK high street retailer (Heatons) and one who featured a few seasons ago (Menarys). More on those in a later post.

Unlike our style spotter Louise Vance, who has already spotted some great looks at the FASHIONWEEK launch and has no doubt already fully selected, coordinated and accessorised her fashion fabulous looks for the week, the Belfast Times wardrobe has yet to be coordinated, but that will happen, possibly at the last minute, but it’ll happen!

20131006-214359.jpgAs always, keep on loving Belfast Times, but most importantly, keep on loving our great city, the friendliest city, have a great restaurant week and FASHIONWEEK.

Oh and make sure you let us know what you’ve been up to!
