Racing at Down Royal Racecourse this weekend

Fancy a flutter at the races this weekend? Two days of adrenaline-fuelled racing action at Northern Ireland’s famous Down Royal Racecourse gets under way today, Friday, November 1st.

Horse racing, fashion and top notch hospitality await racing fans and super-cool socialites making a beeline to the fully-transformed, state-of-the art County Down facilities to help Down Royal celebrate 20 years of investment and growth, and its unrivalled status as Northern Ireland’s number one race course.

To mark this special anniversary, Down Royal is ramping up the glamour stakes with a special Ladies’ Day “Best Dressed” prize package on Saturday, November 2nd, which includes a fully paid-up, luxury trip to Dubai for two – including a once-in-a-lifetime visit with hospitality to the world-famous Meydan racecourse. Gates open from 11am on Friday and Saturday, with the first races starting at 1:05pm (approx.). Admission is £12 on Friday 1st November and £15 on Saturday 2nd November. Entrance tickets can be purchased online, from the racecourse office or at the turnstiles on the day.
