Paloma Faith in Belfast

On Sunday night, Belfast had the pleasure of hosting the first date of the Paloma Faith tour at the historic Ulster Hall.

The night started off with a minor hiccup as the support act Josephine was stranded in Gatwick Airport thanks to a bit of snow. She’s playing in the Limelight in April, so if you are a fan, then you will get the chance to see her live then.

But the night was of course all for Paloma, who walked on stage a bit like an ‘Oscar’, all gold and shiny.

And off she went…in her own unmistakeable style with a voice sounding much better than you would ever expect, a catalogue of great songs and a bundle of energy and fun. She admitted that she has been known to talk too much, so she was trying to tone it down a bit to save her voice. But she still managed to have some great banter with the Belfast audience.

The concert was a great mixture of glamour, fun, great tunes, a great voice and a little bit of eccentricity!
