Obel abseil

20130809-081210.jpgCould you transform into a superhero for local children affected by cancer? NICFC are currently rallying together individuals brave enough to take part in a sponsored abseil of Ireland’s tallest building, the Obel Tower, which looms over the River Lagan in central Belfast. And guess what, I think I’m going to register!!

The challenge will take place across two days on 14th and 15th of September. Participants will be taken to the very top of the massive 289 foot tower, before experiencing an adrenaline rush like no other as they abseil down all 28 of its floors to reach solid ground once more.

With only 60 places available for this once in a lifetime experience, signing up early is essential. Participants must also be over 14 years of age.

Registration for the event costs £35 and individuals taking part will be asked to gather together a minimum sponsorship of £100. Every penny raised will go towards funding NICFC’s specialist support services for children, teenagers and young people affected by cancer, who themselves bravely face difficult challenges on a daily basis.

If you are interested in signing up (me me me!!), please get in touch now with Natasha Walsh on 028 9080 5599 or Natasha@nicfc.com. Alternatively, you can register online here. More information on the event is available on the NICFC website.
