Patisserie Valerie opened its second Belfast store this week creating 20 jobs.
The first Belfast store opened in May of this year on Donegall Square West and this second location on Castle Lane in the city centre opened on Tuesday.
On the morning of the second Twilight Market at St George’s (Wednesday 12noon-11pm) we went along to check out the new Patisserie Valerie for breakfast. A big Belfast fry, and an Eggs Benedict, and of course a Suki Green Tea. Those Suki folks are everywhere…Oscar has done well, from a St George’s Market trader to a tea mogul. That eggs benedict by the way, on brioche, was delicious!
As always with Patisserie Valerie, they have an amazing selection of colourful and delicious cakes and pastries. We could see customers regularly stopping at the window pointing to the delicious looking creations on display. I’ve brought a vanilla slice to the market for dessert after dinner!
The new Patisserie looks more contemporary with a hint of Art Deco glamour in the fab chandeliers.
Why not pop in for breakfast, lunch, or just for a big bun and a cup of suki tea.
