Moss Bros opens Belfast store

Here in Belfast, we’ve been suffering from an extremely severe drought this summer. I’m not talking rain or sunshine, no, we’ve been lacking in a certain area called menswear. So I’ve been out on the streets performing various dances, chants, rituals and sacrifices etc and it seems the style Gods on high have finally answered our sartorial prayers and put an end to this never-ending menswear famine. Please give a massive welcome and an equally impressive AMEN…because Moss Bros. have officially landed.

That’s right gents and gents, Britain’s leading high-street tailoring retailer has arrived! *Throws all the silk pocket squares into the air.

Opening it’s doors in Belfast on 28th July bringing the Moss Bros. wealth of experience and tailoring expertise (165 years to be exact) to the streets of Northern Ireland for the very first time to showcase a cohesive mix of classical suiting with a modern, youthful twist.

Situated on Castle Lane in the heart of Belfast’s shopping district, the new Moss Bros. store is designed to allow customers space and time to select their suiting and talk to tailoring experts to find exactly the right ensemble for them. It will carry a comprehensive selection of Moss Bros.’ own tailoring lines as well as Ted baker, DKNY, French Connection, Savoy Tailor’s Guild and Hardy Amies. Plus, shirting, accessories, shoes, causal wear, outerwear and hire.

Gordon Thomson, Store Manager of Moss Bros. Belfast, said: “Belfast guys have always loved a sartorial look. Not only do we hope to help the city’s guys sharpen up their suiting through personalised options like the Tailor Me made-to-measure service, but we also want to do it in a relaxed environment where guys feel comfortable to explore exactly what they want in a suit- and they’ll find that here!”

Having tried on three full suits and walking away with a cement grey and white checked offering, I can confirm the Moss Bros.’ sartorial ethos is on point and I look forward to seeing more guys rocking the Moss Bros.’ tailoring collections right here in Belfast from now on.

Hallelujah. Praise Moss Bros.
