brendaEverything changes.

Impermanence is a fact of life. Change is the only constant.

A lot of suffering comes from our taking what happens personally. If we can see life as more of the human experience instead we can learn to see that it is what it is.

Shit happens, no matter how hard we try or how lucky we might be, there will always be something or somebody that causes us stress and suffering.

Pain, emotions, feelings and behaviour are all part of our makeup so basically what I’m saying is if we are aware of our feelings, emotions, suffering and joy. Then here is where we have the power and control of ourselves. Accepting that shit is shit so let’s just sit with it for today.

Empowerment that we know some things in life we cannot change yet knowing that change is inevitable, do you see the power you have when you accept everything life brings you.

Every single experience, person, location is unique to you.

Only you experience and feel your life, your journey.

So only you have the power to deal with your stuff.

How we manage our own mental health is imperative to how we survive.

Imagine being so empowered that you totally accept everything life brings you and you see suffering as growth of character and you accept shit as a fact of life.

Incredible power, herein lies the answer to stress, panic, worry, fear, heartache, grief.

Simply breathe in and remember these 3 areas of existence :

Shit happens
Everything changes
Don’t take it personally

Next time you are suffering, sit and process these 3 marks of existence and honestly analyse how you can shift your thinking of your situation.

Be patient and don’t be too hard on yourself. Also give time time. Life delivers all in its own time.

All you’ve got to do in the meantime is look after you.

Keep life in the 24 hours, see the beauty and good in what you have right now, be grateful for all the fabulous people and experiences you have now and remember every cloud has a silver lining.

Believe all will be OK and what’s waiting for you is unbelievably amazing.
