Sometimes for every one cruel person there are nine fabulous people.
Saturday night I spent in the Ramada encore for a fundraising night for make a wish charity.
It’s great to see people having fun and socialising and actually it’s great for the soul.
I haven’t been out in so long it was fab to catch up with old and new friends.
We need human contact, we need fun, and time to let our hair down and escape from our own wrapped up thinking.
When you get wrapped up in your own thoughts and ideas sometimes they are imaginary and you create situations in your mind that never actually happen. Therefore you create stress and worry in your own head.
So try and keep a good routine, keep focused and busy and try to keep in contact with good positive friends or people who will guide you through the tough times.
Today I want to thank all my friends for supporting me at the memorial ball for my sister on Saturday night but especially her cousin Eamonn Wilkinson who organised the whole event.
The funds are going to Make-a-wish so just remember today no matter how bad you are feeling there is always someone worse off than you.
Make your own wish today that you may have every happiness and peace.
Life is tough and people are difficult but no one escapes pain. It’s part of the human experience.
All you can do is your best and helping others is always a great way of taking your mind off feeling sorry for yourself!
So lighten up and live and look after yourself. If you have a problem please seek help no one should be ashamed of anything.
Addiction is an illness like any other please respect it’s a tough and challenging road for anyone suffering, be gentle please don’t judge.
Mental health blows my mind at the damage and destruction it can cause.
So for today let’s look after our mind.
