Monday mindfulness: Find your peace

And so the new journey begins:

One of my greatest mindfulness moments is learning to accept each day as new. A new beginning, a fresh start, a new adventure, a clean slate.

Looking at each situation through the eyes of a child, look at life with curiosity like you’ve never seen it before, without judgement.

Someone said to me this week, you are so nonjudgmental and accepting of everything and everyone.

What a beautiful compliment!

I’ve learned, usually the hard way, who am I to judge anyone, I’ve also learned anyone who judges me is better off without my company, as I judge myself harshly enough so to have friendly critics I can live without.

So I move on and begin with my new slate of non judgement and that’s liberating.

100% freedom of living a life you want is unbelievably blissful, unbelievably liberating and beyond priceless. That’s living the dream for me and without doubt I am embracing each day with full opportunity and excitement.  It’s taken me a long time to get to here, a lot of change, hurt, pain and clearance but I feel like the caterpillar whose just grown into the butterfly and boy am I ready to fly. I’ve achieved great inner strength and contentment and I’ve found me. The girl I’m happy to be!

I think in your 20’s and 30’s it’s all about learning, growing and achieving. Then mid 40’s we have the classic mid life crisis and that’s where you shed all the unwanted layers and become free, free to what matters!

I see the ethos in older, calmer and wiser, it’s definitely a learned life experience.

So now I’m passionate to educate the young with my hard earned wisdom and teach them the skills I found difficult to learn.

Life is simply stunning when you slow down and look at the scenery.

Get off the rat race and find your peace.

Butterflies fly better in calm skies!
