Mixing it up with Susy Atkins – an evening with JN Wine, celebrating April as part of the NI Year of Food and Drink
Wine writer, Saturday Kitchen BBC1 contributor, columnist with the SundayTelegraph’s Stella and drinks editor of Delicious magazine, Susy Atkins is coming to Belfast for a fun night of tasting with JN Wine on Thursday 14th April.
As part of the April strand of the NI Year of Food and Drink, which focuses on local brewers and distillers as part of the distilling and craft-brewing month, JN Wine has enlisted the help of drinks expert and author Susy Atkins to celebrate some of the most daring distillers Northern Ireland has to offer.
Known for her no-nonsense, down-to-earth and fun approach, Susy Atkins has won many awards for her writing, including Glenfiddich Book of the Year for Drink!, Champagne Lanson Book of the Year for the Which? Wine Guide (twice), and has also been International Wine and Spirit Competition Communicator of the Year, and Louis Roederer International Wine Writer award-winner.
Susy will be selecting some appropriately fresh and delicious spring wines from the JN Wine shelves to taste alongside a few delectable canapés, and then mixing it up with some of NI’s superb craft produce including Shortcross Gin and RubyBlue liqueurs to create some drinks for guests to try, showcasing these excellent Northern Irish products.
Taking place from 6.30pm on Thursday 14th April in the Cast and Crew at the Titanic Quarter Belfast, tickets are £35 and must be purchased in advance from JN Wine. Purchase online at www.jnwine.com or by phoning 028 44830091.
