Look out your window and up at the sky this lunchtime. As part of the launch of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Red Arrows will be flying low over Belfast city centre at approximately 1.00pm.
Also, the Olympic Opening Ceremony is taking place this evening and will be broadcast live on the Big Screen within the grounds of Belfast City Hall. The City Hall gates will close at 5.30pm and re-open again at 6.30pm.
Entertainment will begin at 7.30pm until 9.00pm with fire performers, carnival drummers, aerial acrobatics and flag dancers; all to help the Belfast audience get ready for the Olympic Games. At 9.00pm the Big Screen goes live from London to broadcast the spectacular Olympic Opening Ceremony until 12.30am.
Admission is free and no ticket is required; limited seating will be provided on both the East and West lawns.
