Friday 30th November 2012 is the final chance to register to volunteer for Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children at the 2013 World Police and Fire Games.

NICFC have been selected as one of the official charities and the Games represent a fantastic opportunity for them to raise a massive amount of funds and grow awareness of the work they do locally and internationally.

Volunteering at the 2013 WPFG will include helping out at NICFC fundraising events, venue and street collections at locations across Northern Ireland and various other activities. The 2013 WPFG is the third biggest multi-sporting event in the world so the opportunity to be a part of it is one not to be missed!

Please note, pre-registration of volunteers is for access and security purposes. Only volunteers registered by Friday 30th November 2012 will be allowed access to official WPFG venues including the Athletes Village. There will be no opportunity to register at a later date, so we ask that you take a couple of minutes and sign up now!

You are not required to commit to a minimum number of days – however many hours or days you can give to us over the course of the event, is very much appreciated! There will be volunteering opportunities at weekends, weekdays and evenings! Please tell all your family, friends and colleagues and ask them to volunteer too!

Before you start there are some basic requirements. You must:
* be aged 16 or over by 1 January 2013
* be eligible to volunteer in the UK, and
* pass relevant background checks.

This a fantastic opportunity for NICFC but also for you to be a part of the biggest event ever to come to Northern Ireland and above all, to continue to make a difference to the hundreds of local families living with childhood cancer!
