It’s been a while but I knew I’d be back in Titanic Belfast soon enough. Why, you ask? Well I guess the title of this post gives it away. Today at 4pm, the great Sir James Galway will be playing in the atrium of the great building.
He will be playing the short concert later today (Thursday 14th) as an appetiser before he plays the Waterfront Hall this Saturday.
A choir of young flute players from all parts of Northern Ireland will have their dream come true when they accompany Sir James Galway today and again on Saturday when they will play with the Ulster Orchestra at the Waterfront Hall.
During todays short performance Sir James and the flute choir will play a new arrangement of the Oscar-winning song from the Titanic movie, My Heart Will Go On.
Apparently it will also be James’ first visit to Titanic Belfast, so my guess is, he’s totally unaware how amazing this performance is going to sound! It’s going to be a beautiful moment, and hopefully, it will totally inspire everyone to go to Saturdays Waterfront Hall concert.
I’ll see you there at 4?
