Boo! It’s Halloween treat time

Trick or treaters are increasingly spoilt for choice when it comes to Halloween each year, but leading the way for us this season is the Boo themed displays and treats in both Marks and Spencer and Hotel Chocolat, both with prime Belfast City centre shops. They have some fantastic treats in store for you!

As M&S say on their packaging, No tricks just Treats. From witches fingers biscuits to Halloween chocolate treat bags, and from Petrifying Pumpkin potato snacks to Fizzy Fangtastic Popcorn there is a huge selection of Halloween treats to make your haunted house party go Boo! We particularly love the Haunted House Party Box filled with goodies and perforated masks built into the box. Be sure to pop into your nearest M&S store now to make it a Halloween to remember.

Best of all there is a 3 for 2 offer on!

Hotel Chocolat Halloween window

Over in Hotel Chocolat, just outside Victoria Square, you’ll find their huge haunted house in the window teasing you indoors for a feast of chocolate delights.

Their haunted house boxes of ghoulishly good Halloween chocolates are Boolicious! I’m currently working my way through the caramel Boo! box. What’s not to love about the Boo! box at £8 each with 16 Halloween shaped chocolates inside.

Only last week one of our friends was tempted in to this British Cocoa Growers Belfast shop to spend all round her on Halloween chocolates, including Halloween bites, Skull licks, Tiddly Vampires and Oozy eyes.

If you’ve never tried Hotel Chocolat before, you should! Every season, and for every event they have a huge array of creative and amazing chocolates. Their little packets of 6 chocolates and chocolate slabs should be on every Belfast shoppers shopping list. You can also buy online at On my own radar is their Tasting Club, now that’s something this chocoholic needs in his life!

Autumn Desserts

Also new this Autumn to M&S is a collection of stunning desserts. You’ve probably already seen the advert for the melting chocolate dome, and oh my, you have to try this dessert, it’s as good as it looks! Also worth trying is the Chocolate and Williams pear tart, the Tahitian Vanilla Cheesecakes and the Chocolate Soufflé.

Are you hungry yet? I am… again!

Happy Halloween
