#Halloween at @castlecourt

CastleCourt Shopping centre will be full of ghoulish goodies this Halloween as it prepares for two days of devilish delights for all the family to enjoy.

Starting the spooky spectacular on Saturday 26th October, CastleCourt will welcome one of its chosen charity partners, Mencap, to host a frighteningly fun Halloween party. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the party atmosphere with face-painting, a drawing competition and much, much more. The party will take place from 11am until 4pm in the Playworld area of the centre with lots of howl-worthy fun guaranteed.

To continue to ghostly goings-on, Thursday 31st October will see another Halloween line-up of little-monster-friendly events, including creative trick or treat arts and crafts workshops and spooky face painting. Mini vampires, witches, devils and ghosts will be able to come along and create their own Halloween masks or wizard wands to help them scare passers-by as they go trick or treating.

Binder Tohani, from CastleCourt said of the spook-tastic events:

“Halloween is such a fun time for all the family and a great excuse to dress up, play tricks and enjoy collecting treats. CastleCourt loves to get into the Halloween spirit every year and we can’t wait to see lots of creepy, shocking and scary outfits in the centre and enjoying the many fun events we’ve got planned.

“We’re also really looking forward to welcoming one of our chosen charities, Mencap, to host their very own Halloween party and hope as many people as possible can come down to the centre to support them.”

Justine Fleck, Area Fundraising Manager for Mencap added:

”Mencap are absolutely delighted to be involved in this exciting event for CastleCourt that will help raise vital funds to support people with a learning disability here in Northern Ireland. We have an extra special surprise planned for onlookers so keep your ghoulish goggles peeled around 4pm – don’t miss out!”

As well as the planned activity, shoppers will be in for a frighteningly-fun surprise which has yet to be revealed but is sure to get shoppers dancing in the aisles.

Throughout the Halloween period children will also receive a free Halloween gift bag when children register for CastleCourt’s Kids Club.
