Gigging ‘inside out’

How would you like free unplugged gigs in the city centre?

As part of her year as Mayor, Cllr Nichola Mallon is showcasing the Best of Belfast, and this initiative for free outdoor gigs is one of a number of events showing off the City.

The ‘Inside Out’ initiative is a pilot project by Belfast City Council and builds on the success of other council music initiatives like Belfast Music Week, which have been helping to nurture and grow the local music scene.

Bands and artists will be performing for 45 mins at Cornmarket every Thursday (5.30pm) and Saturday (1pm and 3pm) throughout August, culminating in a final showcase event at City Hall on 30 August.
