Culture Night Belfast, due to be held on Friday 21 September, is now accepting submissions for this year’s programme.
Culture Night Belfast, the city’s most colourful and inclusive cultural celebration is back for its fourth year and ready to transform and energise the streets of Belfast once again! Organisers are now taking submissions for the Culture Night 2012 programme from artists, performers, musicians, creative organisations and businesses who would like to get involved.
Last year over 150 organisations and individuals got involved and performed, presented, curated, cultivated, illuminated, showed, screened, told and generally opened up to over 20,000 people across the city centre, and beyond, in an evening of carnivalesque adventure like no other. All Culture Night events are free and open to the public attracting thousands to Belfast’s best night out!
Culture Night Belfast 2012 takes place on Friday 21 September and is already shaping up to be even bigger and better than ever before. Events will take place throughout the city centre with hubs in the Cathedral Quarter, East and West Belfast. Prospective participants are being asked to think creatively to help make this year’s Culture Night the biggest, best and boldest yet.
Organisations, groups and individual artists can submit their ideas via the Culture Night Belfast website – www.culturenightbelfast.com – until the 23 July.
All proposals must be submitted by Monday 23 July to be considered.
