Game of Thrones

Last night HBO showed Northern Ireland off to the USA with the first episode of it’s multi million pound TV series, Game of Thrones, which was filmed mainly in the Belfast Paint Hall studios and at various other locations around the city and beyond.
The show premiers in the UK tonight on the Sky Atlantic channel, so get your Sky+ record button at the ready to watch and record what is being billed as the next big TV series.
With many local actors and other big name actors such as Sean Bean, Charles Dance and even Lily Allens wee brother Alfie, the medieval fantasy epic is getting great reviews and looks set to be the series to watch.
Another Paint Hall project also bringing the eyes of the world onto Northern Ireland is the movie Your Highness with Natalie Portman and James Franco.
So you now have 2 things to do, get over to the cinema to watch Your Highness and then sit back on your sofa with your feet up and watch Game of Thrones.
It really is yet another great week for the image of Northern Ireland!
