Sad times GSpotters! as I write my last G Spots! weekly column for Belfast Times. After three and a half years I have decided to fly the nest and set up my own blog, which is funnily enough called G Spots!
I have loved every minute of being part of the BT family and it’s been great to share my adventures with you and have some fun along the way!
It’s hard to pinpoint my favourite posts but some of the highlights include when the Giro D’Italia came to town. Me dressed head to toe in pink and running around after a load of Italian cyclists in lycra – who wouldn’t love that! Being able to showcase some of my friends/clients and the good work they do has been great. I have loved talking about my mindfulness experiences with AWARE alongside all the walks and healthy activities, which have helped mine and hopefully your mental health!
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the going out and about too and sampling the food and not forgetting the wine at all the launches! A tough job but someone had to do it 🙂
It’s been fun giving local “hidden gems” a platform to promote themselves – the Secret Dining Club, Geri @ The Chocolate Manor, Elliott’s Turkey Farm, The Bubbly Bar and of course Mr Belfast Times himself, Jeff and his pop art creations!
I always seemed to find myself up in Derry and covering things there- Roco hair salon, the Shipquay Natural Health Clinic and BishopsGate Hotel have all got a mention despite not technically being in Belfast. I used to tease Jeff that we should set up a Derry Times and I would be the roving reporter! Not forgetting all the foreign adventures over the years.
Flip it’s been varied alright! and it’s been great to get support from BT readers. Hopefully I’ve brought you some interesting stories and ideas along the way and I look forward to seeing you out and about soon.
Bye for now!
