Now my self-imposed winter hibernation is over, I’ve decided it’s time to get out and start enjoying Spring events. The two things that will most likely get me to attend is food and fashion, so when an interesting event, ‘Craving Fashion’ brings the two things together, it definitely got my attention.
On Saturday 9 April foodies and fashion lovers will unite over a three-course seasonal lunch to enjoy the latest looks from Evelin Brandt. The outfits will be modelled by Maureen Martin Models and the meal will be in the stylish tranquility of Deanes at Queens.
Sounds yummy! I’m a huge fans of Deanes and have just managed to bag a few tickets for its hugely popular Dine around Deanes, which makes a gourmet pitstop (in a specially commissioned bus!) around the restaurants in the group.
This event, in one of my favourite locations will be the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Dispelling the myth that food and fashion don’t mix, guests will be able to sit back and relax while checking out the latest looks from international design houses such as Evelin Brandt Berlin, Bitte Kai Rand, Cristina Gavioli, Comma, Sarah Pacini, Summum Woman among others.
There will also be spot prizes throughout the afternoon with hundreds of pounds worth of goodies to be won, as well as a raffle with all proceeds being donated to Pretty ‘n’ Pink. Definitely an event worth getting the girls together for or the perfect opportunity for a bit of mother and daughter time.
Evelin Brandt is having a renaissance having moved to its new home on the ever chic Lisburn Road. This German brand is the core label in-store, but other global labels bring French flair, a London edge and perfect American casual style to the stylish boutique. There is an eclectic mix of outfits for a range of ages, but the prices are what you might expect due to its BT9 location. It shouldn’t put you off going in for a nosey and they also do an affordable range of accessories.
You can get some inspiration at the event, which runs from 1pm to 4.30pm and cost £40. Places are limited and can be purchased directly from Evelin Brandt boutique on 028 9020 7020 or by calling into the Lisburn Road branch.
I’ll be the one trying not to spill anything on the pretty clothes and rather than wondering how I will be able to squeeze myself into them, it will be more like how will I be able to squeeze anymore of them into my house!
