G Spots! A Creative Make-Up Duo

I was lucky enough to be invited to an intimate affair this week alongside movers and shakers from the local creative industry. Hosted in the stunning location of the Obel Tower penthouse, we celebrated the first birthday of Titanic Creative Management.IMG_3113

Titanic Creative Management is a unique business venture, owned by Nuala Campbell, who works alongside Erica Clark (below).

It is dedicated to providing the best in standard and custom made prosthetics, professional materials and high level training for make-up artists working in film, television and stage.

The not-for-profit social enterprise’s vision is one of re-energising the industry by offering high level, professional training schemes in Belfast and providing bursary support for training to those who face socio-economic barriers to improving their employability potential.

A cross section of the community celebrated with these plucky entrepreneurs including representatives from Ulster University, Social Enterprise NI, SERC alongside TCM course students. Guests enjoyed canapés from The Fatted Calf and entertainment from Rory Nellis.

All in all this has been a busy year for the dynamic duo who have been hosting special effects training sessions from some of the best in the business, booking big names from around the world including Neill Gorton, Maria Malone and Brian Kinney. If you are in the know, you will be aware of what these tutors can do – see some of their work below.

Both Nuala and Erica both have oodles of industry experience in their own right, and I know we’ll be seeing exciting things in the future. In the meantime, I’m off to bin my new Urban Decay NAKED palette, because as after seeing these amazing pics it’s starting to look very inadequate!
