The initiative, spearheaded by award-winning local charity, Music Theatre 4 Youth (MT4UTH) is giving a cast of 60 young Irish performers the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the musical business at a special intensive week-long residential this week.

The production’s international artistic team, which includes artistic director, Anthoula Papadakis (Les Miserables, West Side Story, Evita); musical director, Andrew Corcoran (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hairspary); choreographer, Robert Foley (Cats, Saturday Night Fever); and associate choreographer, Leon Aldreton , (choreographer with Arlene Phillips), are working with the young cast to create a special ensemble production of Fame!

The weeklong residential will end with three performances of Fame! at production venue, T13 in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter this Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th August 2013.

MT4UTH’s latest production is being supported by a wide array of NI businesses including George Best Belfast City Airport, Aer Lingus, Phoenix Natural Gas, Goldblatt McGuigan, Acapelle Construction, Arup Consulting and Premier Inn Northern Ireland and T13.
