It looks like the City Hall Big Screen is being put to good use this summer. From this Sunday, football fans will be able to enjoy every kick of the England and Republic of Ireland games at Euro 2012 on the big screen.

Even better, it’s free, and you don’t need to get tickets organised, just pop along and join in the football fever of Euro 2012.

Belfast City Council will be showing the following group stage games involving both nations on the Big Screen:

Sunday June 10 – Republic of Ireland v Croatia (kick-off 7.45pm)
Monday June 11 – France v England (kick-off 5pm)
Thursday June 14 – Spain v Republic of Ireland (7.45pm)
Friday June 15 – Sweden v England (7.45pm)
Monday June 18 – Italy v Republic of Ireland (7.45pm)
Tuesday June 19 – England v Ukraine (7.45pm)

Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis. Fans are reminded that no alcohol will be sold or permitted on site. Food will not be sold on the site, but picnics are welcome. Other standard Belfast City Council terms and conditions will apply.

Should either or both countries progress beyond the group stage, all subsequent games also will be shown.
