Getting fit for summer is working and I’m now halfway through my eight week summer fitness programme at the Culloden Estate and Spa Gym.
This week I’m having a mid-point review and I’ve been told to eat well beforehand…which clearly means I’m in for a killer session. I’d better psych myself up for that one! Although to be fair, I’m looking forward to it because I’m a bit bored with the initial programme and have started to veer off it and use some old programmes I had been given by a previous trainer. Which is a good thing I guess, it means I’m progressing and able to do more than I was just four weeks ago.
For me, the best part is that the Culloden is that it’s so handy..either on the way the home from St George’s Market, or by getting off at the Cultra train stop.
I love that it’s never too busy and I have my pick of equipment whenever I want, maybe that’s due to the times I’m going, I mean, who really goes the gym on a saturday evening? I love the view, and just last Saturday I was working out whilst watching wedding photography happening in the grounds of the estate. But most of all I love that the team are great at encouraging and motivating me.
I still haven’t managed to get to a class, but I’m determined to get to a few classes before my 8 week membership is finished.
