Belfast’s brainiest business

Capital cities, current affairs and name that tune – these are just a few of the topics Belfast businesses need to be genned up on in a bid to be crowned this year’s Belfast’s Brainiest Business.

The hugely successful annual quiz event hosted by Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce will take place on Wednesday 5th June in Ten Square Hotel at 6pm.

Now in its fourth year, the event will see a range of business teams battle it out to win the highly coveted title– currently held by the 2012 winners, Bailies Coffee Company.

Newly elected Chamber President, Paul McMahon said: “The Belfast’s Brainiest Business quiz is always a hugely successful event in the Chamber calendar – with businesses coming far and wide to participate.

“It’s an excellent evening with lots of camaraderie between the competing teams – complete with a raffle and great prizes for the winners – with all proceeds going to the TinyLife charity.

“We encourage any individual or team who would like to be involved to get in touch with the Chamber as soon as possible as places are limited.”

Ross Kane, Business Development Manager, Bailies Coffee Company who are the reigning champions said: “Last year’s event was a thoroughly enjoyable night out and great for team-building, so we are all looking forward to defending our title this year!.”

All proceeds from the evening will go to TinyLife who are Northern Ireland’s premature and vulnerable baby charity, dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies born in Northern Ireland.

The cost of entry for Brainiest Business Event 2013 is only £5 per person. To attend contact Martina Connolly at Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce on 028 9033 1399 or email
