The big event, which takes place from 6th – 13th October, sees over 80 of the city centre’s restaurants and food outlets showcasing the best of Belfast food by offering diners specially-themed signature dishes from our best chefs and money-off deals at some of the city’s most loved eateries across every quarter of the city.
It all kicks off on the 6th with the Battle of the Chefs in St George’s Market from 1130am. Pamela Ballentine will be hosting the cook-off as the chefs prepare a family meal. Also on the 6th is Cup Cake Making with the Kiddies in the James Street South Cookery School from 3-5pm, a book reading with AGR Moore in Ryan’s Bar at 1.30pm and also a free event on the Lisburn Road with live entertainment, special promotions and a wide range of taster menus and treats from 12-5pm. Also on the Lisburn Road, the ‘Bitesize food tour’ starts from the Yellow Door at 1030am.
Belfast Restaurant Week is being organised by Belfast City Council and is supported by many of the city’s most talented chefs including Michael Deane, Nick Price, Niall McKenna, Paul Rankin and Brian McCann.
