Belfast today: Hot Lips Curries

What did I get up to in Belfast Today?

I actually won a twitter competition! So for all those who have questioned the benefits of twitter, I won an absolutely delicious Irish Stew from Hot Lips Curries in St Georges Market.
The owner of Hot Lips, Jenny Kennedy, was so proud and excited to have just been awarded her 5 stars for food hygiene award from Belfast City Council that she ran a competition for free stew.
Jenny has a regular Saturday stand at the market and has only just started doing the Friday Market at St Georges and not that I am biased now, as that would be unprofessional, but her stew was really good. So all those Friday office workers need to get over there for some of the stew, which is great value at £3.
What better way to spend Friday lunchtime than pottering about the Market eating Hotlips curries and stews. Lipselicious.

I agree, Jenny’s curries are brillant value, very tasty especially the thai red curry which is favourite. I have now become a regular although just found out Jenny is not at the Market today :0) so looks like i will have to wait until next week for my next fix. (Suzanne – Regus)
