ABSO-VITA-LUTELY – LOVING VITA LIBERATA THIS WEEK….

I’m no stranger to the gorgeous Vita Liberata tan & beauty range and anyone who knows me will have heard me gushing about their products over the years – I absolutely LOVE them! As far back as 2008, my team and I worked on some local PR for Vita Liberata – so it’s amazing to see how much the company has grown with international success. And… let’s not forget that our former CMPR model and now Storm babe Caitlyn Leckey is the stunning face for VL worldwide!

There are some really great summer products from the range and, this week, I want to concentrate on the brand’s most exciting products….

1. Passionflower & Argan Dry Oil Serum (SPF 30):

So starting with the face; This product has become part of my daily beauty regime, as you should always wear an SPF of 30 (or more) wind, rain, hail or shine!

FYI, this is not a tanning product – it protects the skin from the elements. This beautifully fragranced oil is an anti-ageing treatment, which gives a dewy radiance to the face without looking greasy – not a good look on anyone! I apply it after I moisturise and before I apply my make-up or sometimes just leave on a fresh face before a morning run or walk.

2. TRYSTAL MINERALS:

This mineral bronzer is just revolutionary! This bronzer/self-tanning pwder offers a mineral build-able coverage, which also works as a gradual tanner that can last up to 3-5 days even after you wash it off. How amazing is that?! This bronzer suits all skin types, so it is very build-able to your preferred shade and coverage. I normally apply this after (or instead of) foundation – a light layer all over then slightly more product on my cheekbones, nose and temples. It works really well as a quick foundation fix for a low-key make-up look!

3. Neroli & Argan Milk (SPF 25):

This sunscreen immediately caught my attention as it improves skin elasticity, while helping to fight damage and photo ageing. How could I pass this, that’s the goal after all, right?! I didn’t use this whilst in France, but will bring it to Ibiza in August! It can also be used for sunny days at home as a daily moisturiser in the mornings. Having tested this at home just last week I definitely felt that my skin was silky smooth all day long! Not to mention the fact that it left a delicious, light fragrance to boot.

4. Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish:

OH MY TAN! Air brush in a bottle – this product works wonders!! Like we say, fake it ’til you make it ladies and gents! I apply all over the body & face – which can be used as/or mixed with foundation! I honestly can’t think of a better tanning product that covers up blemishes and imperfections so well! It even looks good on camera which is a bonus! Once applied my skin felt velvety smooth and had a healthy glow which I adored! The product is wash off and can be showered off when you choose.

I use shade: Latte(001)

5. Marula Dry Oil Self Tan (SPF 50):

Last but definitely not least! I have raved about this fabulous 3 in 1 product in my previous “I scream, you scream…” blog, but since it’s one of my fave VL products, I had to mention it again! I was a massive fan of using this on holidays due to the high factor, as well as the gorgeous instant glow which gradually became deeper throughout the day. But I just love how it leaves a beautiful tan with olive undertones for a more natural look!

Winner! Oh, did I mention it wears off beautifully? It’s just an all rounder for me! An absolute beauty must-have for summer! Warning – blue white skin is probably too pale for this product, but that’s just my opinion and a visit to at VL counter (I love the one in House of Fraser, Belfast) will let you try it for yourself…
