2 Days Of Sport At Victoria Square Charity Weekend

It’s all happening in Victoria Square this weekend!

The shopping centre is teaming up with Northern Ireland’s leading sporting charity, The Mary Peters Trust, in a bid to support Ireland’s future sports stars.

The year-long partnership with the charity which helps young people, both disabled and able bodied, achieve their sporting dreams and ambitions, officially launches this weekend as Victoria Square will transform into a sporting arena for its Charity Weekend.

On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, there will be a range of competitive boxing and table tennis to watch and cheer on. While on Sunday, an event usually held in Grand Central Station, NY, will take place; a replay of the Celtic Cup where a USA wrestling squad take on the best from Europe. There will also be twelve taekwondo European Champions performing and shoppers can get involved in activities themselves by practising table tennis skills.

As part of the Charity Weekend, many discounts will be available and redeemable in Victoria Square from food and fragrance to clothes and cinema.

Demonstrations run in the mall on Saturday from 11am – 5pm and on Sunday from 1:30pm to 5pm.

A full list of discounts available this weekend can be accessed on www.victoriasquare.com from today, Friday 22 May.
