10+ foodie delights in the Linen Quarter

It’s the latest ‘quarter’ in Belfast and an area up for future development with Belfast City Council.

The idea is to create a more cohesive plan and promotional campaign for the area which is already hugely popular, and you probably never even realised!

Here’s a few of the foodie hotspots in the area.

Zen (and Hakka Noodle)

One of the top Asian restaurants in the City and as well as the much loved food, it also looks amazing!

Deane’s restaurants- Eipic, Love Fish, Meat Locker, Deli, Vin Cafe

We love Michael Deane’s restaurants, but the Vin Cafe wins the battle of the best of his restaurants. The atmosphere is superb and we can’t get enough of it. Let’s not also forget about the Michelin star winning Eipic restaurant as well.

Coco

The place with the crazy art and great food and one of the original Linen Quarter foodie favourites.

Since our sneak peek before they opened, we have adored this gem of a restaurant and enjoyed great meals there on many occasions.

James Street South restaurant and grill

Being a burger boy, the grill is where you need to be. And the restaurant next door is one of those special treat top notch places to enjoy awesome fine dining.

Acton & Sons

One of the new kids in the Linen Quarter and it’s a surprise. Conleth Kane recently recommended it in his Belfast Times feature.

Sweet Afton/Perch/Rita’s

There’s so much in one building here and they are all worth trying out from the stylish Sweet Afton bar restaurant to the vintage old school Rita’s to the bird themed Perch on the roof.

Pizza Express on Bedford Street – recently refurbished, and definitely the place we’ve visited most in the Linen Quarter before heading to the cinema. Romano size pizza followed with a Sundae rocks our world!
